"No help"

I don't visit the gp regularly but called yesterday morning at 8am and booked a tc but received a call from the doctor who couldn't help as the receptionist had booked another patient in my place so was re booked for today. No call received so rang the doctors to be told my number had been taken wrong even though I confirmed it with receptionist, spoke to a lovely receptionist on the phone who offered to speak to the doctor for a call back, waited all day for call and when I rang to chase up I was told the doctor had left for the day and he had tried to call but I have not received any call, I understand mistakes happen so asked if I could just obtain a blood form but was told I had to ring back at 8am again to book a further tc. I am in work from 8am usually so struggle to call and you have no online services to help.
