"Caring at all times "

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham

A huge thank you to the teenage cancer services. Sadly the battle with cancer was a tough 19 month journey, and my sibling passed away on 22/4/2021.

There was some highs and lows. The staff on ward 622 were amazing. The end of life care we received was, with such dignity, kindness and respect. We were kept well informed by the nurses and doctors at all times. Even when the situation became quite challenging the team were assertive and respectful to us all.

We are extremely grateful for the loving care we have had from the cancer team and the aftercare too.

Keep doing what you do and thank you once again.

We are very sorry to hear that your sibling passed away but pleased that colleagues were able to support you both so well during your time in Ward 622 and Cancer Services.
