"So grateful to all the NHS staff"

About: Grantham & District Hospital / Urology Lincoln County Hospital / Oncology United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

(as the patient),

So I was diagnosed in early 2019 with renal stage 4 cancer, in March 2020 the treatment I was having had killed the cancer right back to my affected kidney that I had surgery to remove the tumour and kidney. At present I still have some lymph nodes on my lungs but they are stable. I am still working full time and so grateful to all the NHS staff, nurses, consultants surgeons just everyone who has made this all possible, you are all HEROES in both myself and my wife’s eyes so thank you so so much

Dear squeeky

Thank you so much for the mention on the Care Opinion page as it is a huge morale boost for my staff and after this difficult year they really need these stories to bring a smile to their faces.

We have an amazing team here and I am really proud when I read these comments and so pleased that you are back to work and this has been a good experience for you and thanks to your wife as well for seeing us as you do – take care and thanks again for the kind comments and I will share them with the staff
