This surgery is a joke. We've complained to NHS UK countless times, even pre-pandemic.
One incident involved reception staff laughing about a medical issue when they thought the phone was hung up. We complained and got a template outright denying what happened.
My parents keep having to call and chase up repeat prescriptions that should have already been processed. The prescriptions team have no clue what they are doing.
My mum is in extreme chronic pain but hasn't been referred to any kind of specialist or pain clinic. This has been going on years. She's losing her ability to walk now. I wonder if this could have been avoided if her doctor would do more than just lazily look at page 1 of his text book. I left this surgery a few years back due to the incompetence, behaviour, and lack of care from this surgery's team.
I called today and was gatekept away from talking to a manager. I was just given the same stupid email address I've complained to already.
This surgery needs serious investigation by the NHS and the staff need retraining. There's lots of excuses and not a lot of people doing their jobs.
They won't address your complaints and concerns when you complain. They'll just gaslight you and band together to defend each other. If this wasn't public sector, these people wouldn't have jobs.
