I contacted my local dr's surgery via Dunfermline's online appointment request, at the beginning of April, giving my symptoms of possible phlebitis in my leg calf, I can only thank the triage nurse, Dr Hayes for their quick response in referring me to the DVT Clinic in Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy Fife where I was seen the next day and assessed by DVT Specialist Nurse Stephanie.
I was also sent for an ultrasound scan which confirmed phlebitis as the concern it may have been DVT. Thankyou to all staff that day in the hospital, who were Janette and Kate in Radiology, and Dr Haggerty and Stephanie in the DVT Clinic for their support advice and care.
