"Such kind staff"

I visited Lister for an ERPC following miscarriage and I can't praise the staff enough for their kindness at what was a really difficult time.

Everyone I spoke to, from the nurses to the anaesthetist, the surgeon to the theatre staff all acknowledged the loss and expressed sympathy for what I was going through.

All of them made sure that I felt comfortable, that I understood what was going on and reassured me multiple times that they would look after me.

They didn't have to do any of this, especially considering it was a relatively routine procedure and given how busy they must have been, but it was so appreciated.

Yet another reason to cherish and appreciate our NHS.
