I am writing on behalf of my partner and I to thank the wonderful staff who took care of us in Belford A&E following a road accident in April 2021.
I would personally like to send my gratitude to RN Catherine who looked after me. Thank you for taking such excellent care of me and making me feel at ease. It didn’t go unnoticed the small acts of kindness and reassurance you gave me at all times. It really means a lot and I will always be grateful for the care physically and emotionally you provided.
I would also like to thank Dr Sam who talked through everything that was happening and kept me up to date. I felt so safe knowing I was getting the best care possible and you made a really horrible situation more bearable. Thank you so much for all your care.
On behalf on my partner, we would like to thank the nurse and doctor (I’m so sorry he did not catch your names) who looked after him with such thorough care and compassion.
I would like to thank the two radiographers (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names!) who were so attentive and thoroughly explained the procedures of CT and X-rays so I had nothing to be anxious about. Your care and compassion made the process much more bearable.
And a massive thank you to all the staff who helped in the background (or foreground, I couldn’t see much from staring at the ceiling!). It does not go unnoticed. To everyone who popped their head in to check on us, provided (lots of!) tea and food, pain relief and updating us when we were separated.
To watch you all work as a team was truly amazing and again, I cannot stress enough how thankful for each and everyone single person involved in our care.
With lots of love,
"A massive thank you to all the staff"
