"To get a coil fitted"

From the first moment I met the doctor, Katrina, I was put at ease. We had already shared a phone call in which she explained everything, Katrina made sure if I had any questions before going ahead. A healthcare assistant came in, Diane, who was instantly friendly and warming. Throughout the procedure,  both were hugely supportive , professional and so easy to speak to. Diane helped enormously during it as when she noticed me feeling discomfort, came over, put her hand on mine and helped me breathe through it. I felt so safe and comfortable with them both and had a few wee laughs. 

Both were amazing to be honest. They made an uncomfortable procedure much easier to go through. I never felt like a ‘patient’, felt like they saw me as a person. Only drawback was not having the opportunity to have a coffee with them after! 

Adding to this, the receptionist was super friendly and helpful. The whole appointment, start to finish, was nothing like I expected and I appreciate them for how wonderful they all were.
