"Provided with lots of toys to play with"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Accident and emergency North Devon District Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a service user),

We came into hospital as my son was laboured breathing and wheezy. We were taken really quickly to see someone in a&e and were then to transferred to a ward.

We were treated really well, it was really worrying to see my son unwell but everone put us at ease

We were given tea, food and most importantly my son was provided with lots of toys to play with to help pass the time!

Dear Jess G

I am sorry to hear that your son has been unwell, that must have been very frightening for you. I am glad to hear that you felt supported and that the staff made your son feel at ease during his time here. I have forwarded your feedback to both our A&E department and children's ward. They are most grateful for your kind comments.

Keeley Cooper, Emergency Department Governance & Operational Support Manager has asked me to relay the following to you:

" Thank you for taking the time to provide lovely feedback. We are really grateful and we will pass this on to the staff. We hope that your son is recovering well."

Thank you again for taking the time to leave us feedback.

Best wishes

Lisa
