"Staff were so kind and friendly"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

Recently I had a sudden unplanned visit to our local hospital. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone involved. The ambulance came within minutes and the crew were wonderful, keeping myself and family calm and informed. When we arrived at the hospital I was seen very quickly and all the nursing staff were so kind and friendly as were the porters, x ray staff, junior doctors and consultants. It was a Saturday afternoon busy as usual and appeared short staffed but I could not have received better care and attention. Thank you all very much NHS.

Dear Marmm43,

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s very kind of you to thank staff after your sudden trip to hospital. I hope you’re recovering well.

I’m delighted every member of staff was kind and friendly, and you couldn’t have received better care. It’s great to hear that we always maintain a high level of care no matter what circumstance we’re in.

I’m thrilled to pass your story on to staff in A&E, as I think they will each take comfort in your kind words.

Kind Regards,

Euan
