With Lockdown 2 in place and the prospect of a 3rd I found myself getting increasingly anxious on a daily basis and this was at times leading to panic attacks. I couldn’t sleep dispute being so tired. My head and heart was racing, I felt sick, couldn’t catch my breath and was just so on edge all the time. I wasn’t however able to pinpoint what was bothering me.
After talking to my doctor I was advised to self refer to Inclusion Thurrock. They come back to me really quickly and I was put on a 6 week panic management course. This really helped me understand that what was happening within my body was normal and I started to feel I was taking back control.
After this course I went on to 8 weeks of 121 weekly sessions. These expanded on the work I had begun in the panic management course and delved deeper into my personal issues. The weekly homework allowed me to work on my issues outside of the sessions and slowly start to understand and control the panic and anxiety. Throughout the support from inclusion was second to none. They was all understanding and made me feel comfortable discussing the problems I was having.
I now feel much better able to deal with my ever reducing problems and I know if I needed inclusion help in the future I wouldn’t hesitate.
Many Thanks
