"Recent Tongue Biopsy"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Oral Surgery & Medicine ( Wards 63)

(as a service user),

I was referred for a tongue biopsy to the Regional Maxillofacial Unit QEUH NHS GGC.

I was very anxious and apprehensive on the morning of the arranged procedure. When I attended the unit all staff were pleasant, approachable and made me feel very safe in their hands.

Dear JCarrigan,

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent experience within the Regional Maxillofacial Unit. I appreciate this must have been a worrying time for you and it is very reassuring to read that the staff made your procedure a more comfortable experience by ensuring you felt safe and well cared for.

I will share this kind feedback with them and I know they will be pleased to hear they were able to alleviate your worry.

Thanks again for sending this to us.

Kind Regards

Elaine Burt
