"Crumlin District Nurses"

About: District Nursing / District Nursing - Antrim South

(as the patient),

I have been so lucky to have 5 great district nurses who call with me each Monday to flush and re-dress my PICC line and take my 'obs'.  These nurses (alphabetically) Ashley, Emma, Fiona, Judith and Teresa are so efficient, friendly, patient, empathic and caring.  I have formed excellent relationships with each of them and look forward to seeing them arrive.  They are very understanding of my situation (ongoing chemotherapy for colorectal cancer) and have been so supportive and encouraging.  They are underpaid and I feel under-appreciated but not by me.  I cannot say one negative thing about this service.  Thanks so much to all of them.
