I was brought into hospital via ambulance on March 24 th this year having suffered shortness of breath and chest pain. The ambulance staff once they got to me were fantastic dealing with me and supporting me until I arrived in A&E, where the staff were again very supportive. I was eventually moved to ward 408 whilst awaiting an angiogram me. Due to my type 2 diabetes this was delayed a few days to allow certain medications to clear from my body and the following Monday I was taken for my angiogram. Unfortunately I went into VF whilst undergoing this and was therefore kept on the CCU until Thursday of that week before being returned to 408.
I have received excellent care and support on the ward since my return and would like to pass on my thanks to all of the nurses and health care assistants on both ward 408 and the CCU. Especially nurse JOLLY and care assistant Mary.
"Brilliant care"
