I was taken by ambulance because my Rhuematoid pain had become
unbearable and it was painful to breathe. I desperately needed strong pain relief. I didnt get any all night and was crying in pain all night. got some oramorph at breakfast time and was taken to Ambulatory care. again was left with no pain relief and a consultant who would not listen. she was concerned i had a blood clot and i accept that, but refused to consider what I was saying. no one ever seems to understand how bad Rheumatoid pain can be. Also I could have done without the sarcastic comments from one of the ambulance team. I have had excellent care from these departments previously and I don't make this statement lightly. It was an awful experience and I came home in a bad way and traumatised. I had to fight to get a gp appointment but eventually did thankfully. Feeling very let down.
"left all night with no pain relief and no water"
