"Daughter's broken wrist"

About: Arbroath Infirmary / Minor Injuries

(as a parent/guardian),

My 6 year old daughter fell and hurt her wrist today and after a trip to a and e followed by an xray, we were told she has broken it. The nurse looking after her couldn't of been more helpful and kept her calm. She was even given a sticker book and puzzle before leaving which made her day.

Dear Pepperwd83

Thank you so much for your comments on care opinion. I’m so pleased to hear the nurse looking after your daughter treated her well. We know that often people are anxious and in pain when they need to visit minor injuries so try to do our best to help with this.

I will share your comments with the staff and appreciate the time you have taken to post your story. The feedback helps us to improve our service for the future.

I hope your daughters wrist is healing well and she is enjoying the sticker book and puzzle.

Kind Regards

Anne Black
