(as a service user),

Throughout my pregnancy, the birth of my baby and newborn postnatal care the community and hospital midwives have provided an exceptional level of care to me and my newborn. They were always kind, compassionate and understanding, person centred and extremely knowledgeable - providing me with relevant information so that I could make informed choices about my baby's birth plan and our care. I never felt coerced or pressured to change my birth plan or to consent to additional offered interventions. I am truly grateful for this and have had a 100% positive experience under their care.

Thank you for sharing with us how you found your care to be. Person centred care is hugely important to us and It is great to hear this was your experience throughout your pregnancy journey. It is wonderful that you felt you were provided with the right information to support you to make an informed choice.
