"Useless practice"

About: Five Elms Medical Practice

We’re do you start been trying to phone after 132 times yes 132 times in one day I decided to go round there, we’re the reception had phones on silent and just sitting there, doc gave a six month old baby a pump without the inhaler, than spent more time chasing that, practice is becoming a joke ask you not to go there but you have no choice when on one answers the phone

The practice has all these rooms and very rarely you have more than one doctor on duty never a female and when she was there she did 4 hours a month so could never get in to see her.

these doctors and reception are messing with peoples live not a very happy patient at all

We are sorry you had cause to complain about the service you received from Five Elms Medical Practice

The telephone lines are very busy and we are trying to address this by directing patients, who are able, to use eConsult or Contact Us through the website

On the day you were trying to contact the Practice the telephone lines were switched over to the Out of Hours service for clinical management of patients due to training/updates for Clinical staff on the first Tuesday of every month.

However, I extend out apologies again as the prescription for an inhaler was not signed off by the GP the previous day and due to the Protected Time Initiative session was not able to be signed off immediately the error was brought to our attention.

With regard to your concern regarding GP's, we have two female GP's who are working with the Practice on a regular basis. However, due to the COVID restrictions, some of our GP's are working remotely, but patients will be seen face to face if clinically appropriate so this does not effect patient care.
