I dont use the surgery often thankfully but booking appointments is a real pain they wont accept online bookings via the NHS Patient Access portal so you hav to call and as with all surgeries around the country they are busy and only have 2 people answering phones, I dont blame the admin staff but if bookings could be made online and encouraged then there would be less time on the phone. I understand that most people want an appiontment as soon as possible as they are ill but having to wait on the phone is very old fashioned, I get it that older generation people might not be able to book on line but most could so if would then leave more time for admin staff to deal with the more complicated things! Slots could be booked out during the day for telephone bookings but would be at the end of the day so that any pre booked slots can be allowed to over run a little, to avoid missed appointments when online booking a fee could be applied that is credited back upon book in but kept for no shows!
Otherwise its ok.
