"HPV and cancerous cells"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gynaecological oncology

(as the patient),

I had a smear that was positive so I had a biopsy to test the cells and they came out has pre cancerous cells so I had treatment loop excision of the cervix then follow up appointment then a smear again to make sure all the bad cells are gone. Would like to thank Miss Rao, Amy and Janet from Boston hospital

Dear Bissell37

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave your feedback for us following your recent visit to the gynaecology outpatient department at Pilgrim Hospital. We as a team are always keen to hear patients feedback, in order that we can strive to provide the best patient experience we can. We realise it can be such a worrying time to receive an abnormal smear result and have to attend our colposcopy clinic. I hope we made this experience a little less stressful for you and I will certainly pass on your thanks to the team you personally mentioned. May I wish you well.

Take care

Tracy
