"Treated terribly"

My son was sent two ophthalmology appointments by mistake, meaning we didn’t attend one as we didn’t know about it. This resulted in us and our gp being sent a letter and discharged from the service, even after we made a telephone call apologising for missing the appointment. Not a nice way to be treated.

I was really sorry to hear about your experience of our service - this is clearly not the experience that we would want our patients to have. I have raised this with the service manager for the area and it will be discussed at their team meeting.
