"Absolute Joke of a Service"

About: King George Hospital

The Service in Urgent care is terrible. Nothing was urgent about the process at all. I spent 3hrs in the triage queue. Understaffed is and under statement. There was more security in the reception/triage area than clinicians. Non Clinical staff (security) bumping patients up the queue to be seen. A paramedic triaging patients and transporting them to other areas. Where are the porters ? Let’s not start on the 2 clinicians sat in a clinical room looking at excel sheets doing nothing but popping out every so often despite being aware of the long wait and reception full of patients during “COVID”. I Would definitely not recommend this service

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback, we are so sorry to hear the concerns that you have raised. Unfortunately, the Urgent Care Centre is not managed by Barking, Havering and Redbridge NHS Trust, it is managed by Partnership of East London Co-operative (PELC). Therefore, your concerns would be best directed to them to respond to, PELC can be contacted on 0208 911 1130 or by email: pelc.feedback@nhs.net.

Kind Regards
