I want to thank the two young women doctors and the male consultant on duty A&E at 3pm on Thurs 25 March. I visited after a fall on the Downs. They treated me so sympathetically, so gently, so professionally. I couldn't have wished for more. I was very shocked and did not take their names but I want them to know how much I appreciated their care. They deliberated about stitching or glueing my lip and decided against it and I wanted to let them know that I saw a maxfac consultant a week later who said they had done exactly the right thing. My lip is almost healed completely. My bruises have taken longer to fade but I appreciated being xrayed so I knew nothing was broken (especially as I have osteopenia). In fact although my injuries were relatively minor, I was very shaken and the doctors' help and attention made all the difference. You do a tough job, made so much worse by Covid but I felt it was important for me to say how much I value you and the NHS. Please can this message be passed to the individuals concerned with my thanks. Thank you.
"Full of gratitude!"
