I went to A&E late afternoon on 21st March after doing an old folks 'headfirst' fall on to concrete creating a small crater on my forehead. Staff were fantastic at cleaning up the wound, the on duty Doctor used his mobile to take a photo to send to Plastics, they took me to a CT scan (a great facility to have available on a Sunday), and put three stitches in the wound.
Their care and kindness was inspirational.
I'm writing this 10 days after the incident and apart from a lightly bruised eye you'd never know I'd had a nasty tumble. I think I was lucky not to have suffered more serious injuries.
Thank you all so much.
