About: Southern Health & Social Care Trust / COVID vaccination programme

(as the patient),

I’m a single mum with 3 kids aged 11-19. I’m in my early fifties and so was so pleased to be given my vaccine today. My kids rely on me completely and so the threat of Covid 19 was very worrying to us. I’m also a teacher so having the vaccine today gives me some extra peace of mind about being around my class in the weeks to come.

I am delighted by how well the vaccination programme has been rolled out in the UK and my experience at the South Lakes vaccination centre today was amazing. Everyone was so helpful and the nurse who gave me the vaccine was very calm and reassuring. Thank you so much.
