About: City and Hackney GP Confederation / Covid-19 vaccine programme

(as a service user),

Moved and slightly in awe of the caring and slick operation at John Scott Medical Centre in Hackney. The vaccination centre is set up by the community practice and run by a mix of professionals and local volunteers working together.

Had the Astra Zeneca jab (non profit making) delivered by nurses and supported by local people giving up their time to help. What’s not to like! Hoping the powers that be take note of what works well as a model and learns from this. Thank you to all involved.

Thanks for the supportive feedback. The City and Hackney GP confederations works for all GP practices in City and Hackney, so you are right this is an effort between practices, volunteers, professionals and medical students, and the council. Its a great thing to be a part of.
