"Emergency appointment"

About: St Lukes Primary Care Centre

Wanted an emergency appointment - when I had waited after 20 in the queue before me was answered by an unhelpful receptionist. Was very rude and unhelpful and stressed. Eventually she put the phone down. Had another call 30 mins later by another female. Had to explain the whole symptoms again - could tell she didn't want me to have an appointment because they were so busy and full up. She was so stressed as well and jumped down my throat. I pushed and got an appointment 2 days later. I was really upset after this - I am an older lady and shouldn't be spoken to like this. (I know the surgery is very busy - too many patients - but if staff could try and be a bit more understanding to everyone then your patients would be alot happier). At least I saw a nice Dr who approved me having an appointment.
