"Alcohol, Controlled drinking, Improved wellbeing"

I feel that with the help of my key worker, Marc, who never judged me for my drinking behaviour, and I felt really believed in me, I have achieved my treatment goal with no problems. The non judgmental approach and staged treatment plan worked, and I must say I never believed it would, when I started treatment in October 2020. I was consuming in excess of 100 units of alcohol per week and I am now well within the government guidelines and implement drink free days too.  

I don't think about alcohol as playing a big role in my life anymore and feel in total control. my physical has also improved, my blood pressure has reduced, my liver function tests are now normal and my general wellbeing is the best it has been for as long as I can remember.
