"Suspicious Mole removal"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Ambulatory Care

(as the patient),

I went into the Ambulatory care unit at FVRH to get a mole on my back removed to be sent for biopsy.   David and Lee-Ann carried out the procedure.   Right from meeting them they made me feel at ease and showed so much care and empathy towards me as I was really worried.   Everything was explained to me fully and I was updated at every step with what they were doing.   David and Lee-Ann worked so well together and is evident what a strong team they are.   They spoke to me throughout to keep me calm and provided me the support I needed due to not being able to have anyone with me.   They are both an asset to your workforce.   Thank you so much.

Thank you for leaving such kind and thoughtful feedback.

It is great that you felt supported and fully involved in the procedure. Lee-Ann and I try to ensure everyone is as comfortable with the visit as they can be, even more so these days when you can't bring moral support with you.

I hope everything is healing nicely and you didn't feel too uncomfortable afterwards.

Thanks again

David
