"Contact with the clinic"

About: London Lane Clinic

(as a service user),

I'm in my 80's, lucky to have a computer. I rang LLC and on advice from the receptionist I filled in the form on line - took a while!  My dental implant surgeon had told me I must ask advice from my GP as to how long before surgery should I stop taking my maximum dose blood thinners.  When I got to the end of the form I was instructed to ring my GP or ring 111!

Nearly tearing my hair out - what little I have left of it!  It's so very frustrating when one goes round in circles - I guess we have all had that experience.  Right now, my daughter who can be fragile and gets upset more easily than I is waiting for a GP to ring her again to reassure her about blood clots before she has the vaccination.  When she went on the pill, she did get leg pains, many years ago, and stopped taking it.  I have had three DVTs over the years, hence her anxiety.

I wonder whether two phone lines could be helpful right now - one for Covid related queries, one for everything else?  I really don't know about the website but it's certainly frustrating.  I would like to add that my GP couldn't give better service to me.  I trust him and like to think that he trusts me.

Thank you for ploughing through this.
