About: St Stephens Health Centre

(as a service user),

The surgery have not taken into consideration my medical needs. I spoke to a nurse practitioner on a recent Monday, who told me they would call me back on the Friday after I had blood test on the Tuesday, to go through the results and what else could be done. I never received this call. I spoke to the receptionist who put me in for a call on Saturday. The gp phoned me, but dismissed the problems and questioned that I had a previous medical diagnosis. Although this was diagnosed via tests I'm hospital.

This week I placed an e-consult on the next Tuesday, followed by an email to explain I would receive further communication by Wednesday evening. This was an email to say I would get a phone call today.

The e-consult was regarding extreme fatigue. They called me at 8.30am which was inappropriate for the medical advice I was speaking with them about. They then called me a second time at 12.03, during which I was on the phone to reception. They put through a message to say I was on the phone to them and told me I would receive a call ASAP so to put the phone down. I once again, never received this call. Concluding it to a missed appointment, as 2 failed attempts to contact me.

I rung reception again gone 2pm, and told there was no appointments and they cannot contact me now as there is no available space. I asked to speak with the practice manager and put through to reception team leader? I asked again to speak with a manager who told me there were no appointments etc. They then proceeded to conveniently have a cancelled appointment there and then from a different e-consult. After they had just told me, there are no times given.

This problem has been going on for over 2 weeks now! And they are still acting incompetently in following up

I have been given the appointment for tomorrow, to have a call back.

I am aware there are policies, but the patients condition/medical issues should be considered when calling back.
