For 6 weeks, I have been attending Woodend Hospital for immunotherapy sessions to tackle extreme allergies. The service is led by Mr Ram who I saw prior, and then his team carry out the weekly injections, where your blood pressure, pulse, oxygen stats and peak flow are monitored for a period of time before allowed to leave.
This is repeated for 3 years.
The nursing team are always so friendly, caring and genuinely care.
This is a fantastic service to offer. It’s unbelievable that it’s the only clinic on Scotland to offer such life-enhancing treatment as living with extreme allergies is devastating in many ways.
My sincere thanks to all and for giving hope of being able to live a better quality of life due to such critical treatment.
