About: Burnley General Hospital

Usually an excellent hospital to visit. Unfortunately sat here writing this review and I’ve been waiting since 11:30am. It is now 13:20 in the afternoon. Numerous people have been in and out before me. Was meant to be a simple growth check for the baby. Went to the reception to help and she couldn’t tell me why I’m waiting. Simply told me it could be monitoring. Told me I have to wait for a midwife to come out but again I’ve been waiting a long time. Whilst writing this review and answering a few calls, my wife has come out to tell me that she didn’t even need to attend a growth scan today. You can imagine how I feel and clearly understand what has gone on here. Hope this is a one off and they don’t usually forget about people sat around especially during this pandemic with burnley and Blackburn bring the most heavily effected areas.
