"Excellence on every level"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Spinal injuries unit

(as a service user),

I suffered an unstable fracture.

I was transferred to Edenhall Spinal Injuries Unit for care and surgery.

The care is second to none. I will be eternally grateful to the Spinal Injures team, Mr Alan and Mr McLean.

Unfortunately for our family, lightening did strike twice.

My father fell and fractured his spine 8 weeks ago. He is being transferred to the Edenhall ward today and I have every confidence the team there will save his life, as they did mine.

Words are not enough... thank you QE spinal injuries department.

Dear Niccc91,

Thank you for taking the time to post this lovely feedback about the care you recently received in Edenhall, Spinal Injuries Unit. This must have been a worrying time for you and it is very reassuring to hear how appreciative you were of all the care you received.

The spinal injuries team pride themselves in providing a very high standard of person centred care and will be delighted to hear your feedback which I will share with them.

I was sorry to hear about your father and know you have comfort in knowing he will be very well looked after.

Thank you again for your feedback and I wish both you and your father well in your continued rehabilitation.

Kind Regards

Elaine Burt
