"Had to go private last year"

About: Sidcup Medical Centre

(as a service user),

This year? I am unable to use e-consult to get my medication in preparation for the allergy season as I don’t have symptoms yet. If I list the symptoms I will experience, I am told to seek medical treatment and if I don’t, I am unable to progress. I have telephoned twice already and last year I had to resort to a private GP service as I could not get my medications, either by phoning, e-consult or contacting my pharmacy. So this is the second year, now. I have also sent an email, so hopefully the practice will respond. It would be helpful to leave contact details if you would like people to get back to you and not just respond to say you can’t identify the patient.

Dear Patient,

I am sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction. Jut so you are aware, if you are unable to complete an eConsult, you can always ring the surgery and our staff will complete an "eConsult Lite" on your behalf.

A you have posted anonymously I am not able to look into the specifics of your concerns. Please email your concerns to sidcupmedical@nhs.net for the attention of Louise Wright our Assistant Practice Manager and we will endeavor to get things sorted for you.

Regards,

Tina Khanna

Chief Operation Officer
