I have been a participant in Chandni's Foundations of Recovery group on Zoom for a number of weeks and am finding it extremely valuable. I am noticing real-life benefits from implementing the concepts we discuss within the group. I have tried to engage with other group therapies in the past, as a means of treatment for both my mental health and my addiction and for various reasons, I have found these groups to be difficult to engage with; however, I am finding it much less challenging to be an active member of this group.
Chandni always makes me feel like my contribution, and everybody else's contribution is valued, an atmosphere that is cultivated and encouraged amongst all participants, and as a result, I feel more confident in sharing my deepest and most personal thoughts and vulnerabilities; something I would be extremely uncomfortable doing in practically any other environment.
This group is enabling me to look at things from other perspectives I had not considered before and to develop the tools I need to make more positive decisions in my life, and to help others do the same.
