"My mum received great support"

About: Community Therapy Services / Nottingham West Community Therapy

(as a relative),

She had a fall at my sisters in Canterbury, she was taken into hospital and they found that she had broken her hip. After a week in Margate hospital they brought her home. The community nurse called on the first day, they assed my mum and put 3 nurses in place to help mum, morning, lunch and tea. They have been brilliant, after 3weeks she is down to one morning visit a day. We can not thank you enough.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review our Community Therapy Service, what a time your mum has had. Good to hear she is home.

I am pleased she is making progress and her treatment has continued following her return from Kent. Our support staff work with individuals post surgery to build skills and confidence. Our ultimate aim is to get your mum back on her feet doing everything she needs to do! It seems like her abilities are improving each week.

We will continue to support your mum until she has reached achieved her goals. At discharge, you will be given a contact number to refer back to us if you need us again in the future.

Great to hear your mum's hard work is paying off! Keep going, we are here to support her.

Sallyanne Wilson
