"Kindness, care and attention"

About: Craigavon Area Hospital / Acute Medical Unit (AMU) Craigavon Area Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I was recently admitted to Craigavon Area Hospital A&E at around 6.20pm and brought to the resuscitation unit with a resting heart rate of 150bpm and then was admitted to stay the night in the Acute Medical Unit. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all the nurses/doctors that looked after me until I was discharged a day later at 5pm. Especially at a time when family can’t be with you, I felt the kindness, care and attention was very reassuring and helped me not worry despite family not being there. I felt at ease and safe in their care.
