"Emergency contact number"

About: Northampton General Hospital (Acute) / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

After treatment at the Head and Neck treatment room, I was given a leaflet "Discharge Information".   It gave two numbers in case I had any questions or concerns but these are actually ward numbers and I was unable to obtain the help required.   I was given an ENT Emergency Clinic number by the doctor treating me, but this was hardly ever answered.   On one day I rang it over 5 times and it was clear that there was no one there to answer it at all.   It appears to be impossible to contact ENT/Head and Neck for substantial periods of time.
