(as a relative),

I was connected very punctually by a lovely young gentleman. As I am far away it is an excellent way to visit someone who is too ill for visitors and also I would not want to go to a ward with Covid patients.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the new Virtual Visiting Service in Southern Health and Social Services Trust. We recognise how difficult it is for families at the minute with the restricted visiting guidelines in place due to Covid 19. This new service has been established to try to support families and patients during this time and your story just lets us see how the important the service is.

We are delighted to read your lovely comments about our Virtual Visiting Officer. I have personally shared this feedback him and all the members of the Virtual Visiting Team. They are just delighted with this feedback.
