"The passing of my darling Husband"

About: Six Degrees Social Enterprise (CIC) / Greater Manchester Bereavement Service

(as the patient),

My husband passed away in September 2020 at the age of 67 although he had diabetes, end stage kidney disease, and a number of other medical problems he didn’t pass away with any of his on going illnesses we had been married for 41 years and I had known him for 50 years so I feel so empty without him my heart really feels broken, but speaking to a bereavement practitioner on a weekly basis I feel helped me to speak to someone outside my family I was able to tell them things I could not discuss with my daughters in fear I would upset them.

I was In a really dark place and I do still feel really down but with the help of this bereavement practitioner's chats she has helped me a through this very dark time in my life I cannot thank her enough for her kind words and for her patience for just listening.
