"My care after a stroke"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Stroke Care Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance

(as a service user),

I was brought to Crosshouse Hospital by ambulance. The crew were brilliant and very knowledgeable.

Ward 322 was where I was admitted and the staff were absolutely brilliant as well. I was treated very well and cared for with the highest regard. My treatment was very successful and I was discharged on day 3.

The staff were really good and supported me with my recovery.

Dear equuleusqh48,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience via care opinion. What a frightening time it must have been for you having symptoms of stroke. It is lovely to hear that you had excellent care from the ambulance crew and then during your time within the acute stroke unit.

It is good to hear you are now at home and recovering. The staff will be delighted to read your feedback.

Best Wishes,

Christine and team

Dear equuleusqh48,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback here on CareOpinion. I am so sorry to read that you had reason to use our Services and those of the wider NHS. I hope that you are feeling much better now and on the road to a full recovery.

Your comments are lovely and I would like to than you for them. I would be more than happy to pass these on to the crew and their manager to let them know what a wonderful job they did. All I would need is the date/rough time and address that we attended you. This will allow us to locate the job and identify the crew. If you would like for this to happen you can email sas.feedback@nhs.scot. If you would also be so kind as to make reference to your CareOpinion username so that f someone else actions the email they can easily link it to this story.

Thanks again an I wish you all the very best.

Kind Regards

Alan
