Im sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the service provided to you when you rang to make an appointment with the GP at the advice of 111. Unfortunately this is the standard advice given to any patient assessed by t111 to need an examination, regardless of how urgent the problem is so it can be quite misleading for the patient.

I would like to reassure you that the GP read the report provided by 111, and based on the content, was reassured that you were not experiencing pain or discomfort, and that this was not an emergency. She asked the receptionist to book you in on her next available appointment. I believe you called the surgery on Thursday, she does not work Friday, so we made you an appointment for today, which is Monday.
