My 93 year old mother had cellulitis in her leg diagnosed by a nurse yesterday. She was sent to the pharmacy to pick up her antibiotics. She was made to stand for some time and when the prescription didn't arrive, she was sent back to the practice. The receptionist was rude and in desperation she went back to the pharmacist. They could do nothing apparently. She had to go home on the bus without her prescription and was told to return today. We accept there are COVID problems but this treatment of elderly patients is reprehensible.
