Im a 52 year old male, who would like to describe himself as being in good health, active and fairly fit.  After around 2 months of chest pain! I decided to contact my GP to get checked out.  The locum Dr Parker in the Bridge Street practice in Derry for very efficient and effective and arranged for the nurse to perform bloods and ECG the following day. Thankyou Dr Parker

The evening that i had the ECG performed I got a  call from the Cardiac Unit in altnagalvin hospital, to ask me to come over for another ECG and some tests as the one performed at my GP's practive did not look normal!.

The Cardiac Nurse Michelle McQuaid was absolutely brilliant.  She was ready for me upon my arrival at an agreed time, She was thorough and knowledgable in her field and contacted the consultant to agree the next steps, which is to be referred for an ECHO.  Michelle is 5 stars  ***** all the way!!
