I was admitted to Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy on Thursday 18th Feb 2021 for elective right laproscopic radical nephrectomy. I have to say the lead up to my operation, was made so much easier thanks to the dedication and care of all of the NHS staff concerned. starting with my pre-assessment carried out by Jackie (QMH). Also thanks to the staff at cameron hospital covid test centre. On the day of my operation, thanks to Alistair (anesthetist) staff at SEAL unit, DRJ Ayers, Mr Chapman and theatre staff for the comfort and care shown to me. Mr Chapman(head of urology) is a vey nice man, a perfect gentleman, he is so approproachable which was appreciated. And finally, all the staff at ward 52 for their post opp care until I was well enough to get home the following day. I am currently well on the road to recovery
