I have been unlucky enough to need breast surgery twice in the last month due to cancer. I was admitted to the Captain Sir Tom Moore building at Halton Hospital and can honestly say that I felt as if I was in a private hospital - with better NHS care. Every part of my admission, surgery and stay on the ward was faultless. The care shown by every single professional that I came into contact with was compassionate, kind and supportive. I do not know what the future holds for me health-wise but I have no concerns whatsoever about having to go back to this outstanding facility. A fine example of the NHS at its outstanding best.
