I have a congenital, chronic, progressive health condition that has become more acute in the last 18 months. This principally affects my walking. I have had numerous falls, particularly in the last five years. Before I joined this online CBT session, I felt powerless to stem this decline in my health.
I have participated in the online CBT sessions for only the last four weeks. So far, this CBT sessions have taught me three positive recourses:
1 There are always strategies I can take, to deal with my inhibitions.
2 I can accept my disability, whilst simultaneously, not having to surrender to my illness. I find this notion in itself is so empowering to me.
3 My approach to managing my failing health, stems on the following three principles:: my "Values" --> which then guide my "Goals" --> which indicate my "Action Plan".
"Deteriorating Mobility"
