"Upsetting experience"

About: Ilkeston Community Hospital

On entering the unit none of the staff had face masks on. No PPE at all. The person who dealt with me was quite rude. She was about 12 inches from my face when she pushed my arm up. The other person who checked my pulse was miserable and also had no face mask on. Came from there feeling that I had wasted their time &worthless.

This is no way to treat a patient.Disgusting

Thank you for your feed back on Ilkeston Hospital. It is the expectation that all UTC staff wear PPE and all staff are reminded of the importance of PPPE. We are truly sorry on this occasion that this was not the case. If you would like to discuss this further please telephone Patients Experience Team on 01773 525119 and we would be happy to discuss this further.
