"One Recovery Peer Support Group"

About: One Recovery Bucks / High Wycombe

(as a service user),

The group lasted a few weeks. Initially I was nervous at the idea of it but did not take long for Marios and the group to help with that. By the time it wound down, I was more at ease. The group was supportive and understanding. The downside was how the group ended. More of a postponement but an end nonetheless. It's a shame it was not able to continue owing to the cuts and so on.

Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch. Glad to hear that you overcame your worries about attending groups and felt at ease.

Please be aware the group has not been cancelled due to cuts, it has moved to run on a Monday temporarily during the current COVID lock down. Please speak to your keyworker as you can still attend.

All the best,

Tracy

Hello, this was referring to the group on the Monday. When I joined it was Thursdays then switched to Mondays where a fortnight back we were told it had to stop temporarily. I'm sure we were told cuts but it's still finished, for now, all the same.

No one else seems to know this, even my keyworker who I'm not with now as I'm meant to be in the Recovery Network now.

Kind regards.
